- Gulfood 2027 Dubai: Limousine and Chauffeur Travel Guide

Gulfood stopped being a one-building event in 2026. The 31st edition ran across both the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, covering 240,000 square metres with more than 8,500 exhibitors, 1.5 million products and 195 countries represented. Organisers called it the largest food and beverage trade footprint ever assembled.
Gulfood 2027 keeps that two-venue format, running from 15 to 19 March 2027. For anyone attending, that single fact changes the planning more than anything on the exhibitor list. A buyer with meetings on both sites is not walking between halls. They are crossing roughly 35 kilometres of Dubai, twice a day, in the busiest week of the spring calendar.
White Line Limousine LLC has been moving delegations through exhibition weeks in this city since 2011. What follows is how to plan transport for a two-venue Gulfood, using our own vehicles and rates.
The show runs Monday 15 March to Friday 19 March 2027. Hours are 10:00 to 18:00 on the first four days and 10:00 to 17:00 on the Friday, so a full attendance day is eight hours on the floor before you add travel at either end.
The two sites are Dubai World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, out towards Dubai South. Both are exhibition venues in their own right, and in 2026 the show used them simultaneously rather than splitting the week between them.
For visitors, that means checking which sectors sit where before booking anything. For transport, it means deciding early whether your week is a Trade Centre week, an Expo City week, or genuinely both.
Thirty-five kilometres between venues is not a walk, a metro hop or a quick taxi at 4pm.
On a clear road it is around thirty to forty minutes. During exhibition week in March, with show traffic layered onto normal Sheikh Zayed Road congestion, that figure stretches considerably at the start and end of the show day. Two site changes in one day can absorb two hours if you are unlucky with timing, and none of that time is spent meeting anyone.
There are three ways to handle it. You can keep each day to one venue and accept that some meetings fall on the wrong day. You can move between them once, mid-morning or early afternoon, which is the least painful window. Or you can keep a car and chauffeur with you for the whole day so the crossing happens on your schedule rather than on a taxi queue’s.
Most of our Gulfood bookings end up as the third option, for a simple reason. A car rental with driver that waits at the venue means your samples, brochures and coats stay in the boot, and the crossing costs you the drive and nothing else.
Our packages are time-based: five hours is a half day and ten hours a full day, with extra time billed at the car’s normal hourly rate rather than a penalty rate.
A ten-hour booking is the natural fit for Gulfood. Leave the hotel at 09:00, reach the first venue before the doors open, cross to the second site when your meetings require it, and be collected after the 18:00 close for a dinner or the hotel. That is the shape of most exhibition days, and ten hours covers it without anyone watching a clock.
A five-hour block works if you are attending one venue for part of a day, or if you only need the outbound and return legs and nothing in between. For a straight hotel to venue run with no waiting, a point to point booking is usually better value than an hourly one.
| Vehicle | Half day (5 hours) | Full day (10 hours) |
|---|---|---|
| Lexus ES 300h | AED 400 | AED 700 |
| BMW 5 Series | AED 500 | AED 900 |
| BMW 7 Series | AED 800 | AED 1,300 |
| Mercedes S-Class | AED 1,000 | AED 1,800 |
| Mercedes GL 500 | AED 1,400 | AED 2,000 |
Fuel, Salik tolls, VAT, insurance and standard parking are inside those figures. Airport parking is the routine exception, since the airports bill it separately. For a week-long stand or a delegation staying the full five days, ask us about a monthly arrangement instead of five separate daily bookings.
Dubai has two airports in play for Gulfood, and the right one depends on your venue.
Dubai International sits closer to the Trade Centre and takes most long-haul traffic. Dubai World Central, out at Dubai South, is far closer to Expo City and the Dubai Exhibition Centre. A delegate landing at DWC with meetings at Expo City on day one has a short transfer. The same delegate landing at DXB has a long one.
The two airports are roughly an hour apart, so this is not a detail to guess at when you are arranging a group. Confirm the airport and the terminal before booking, and send us the flight number rather than the arrival time, since we track the aircraft and adjust to the actual landing.
For senior guests and buyers you are hosting, meet and greet inside the terminal is worth adding. The chauffeur waits with a name board, handles the luggage and walks them out, which is the version of an arrival that people remember favourably when they sit down with you the next morning.
Most Gulfood transport requests we handle are not for one executive. They are for a stand team, a buying group or a set of visiting clients, and the vehicle choice follows the headcount and the sample cases rather than seniority.
Executive sedans carry three passengers, with three to four bags depending on the model. SUVs such as the GMC Yukon XL, Chevrolet Suburban and Cadillac Escalade take seven passengers with five pieces of luggage. The Mercedes V-Class carries six in reclining seats with Wi-Fi and a charger at every seat, which is the one exhibitors tend to prefer when the team works between venues. The Mercedes Sprinter takes twelve passengers and twelve bags, and the Toyota Coaster covers 22 and 30-seat groups.
Sample cases are the detail teams forget. A food and beverage stand travels with product, and product is heavy, bulky and often temperature-sensitive. Count the cases as well as the people when you tell us what you need, because a seven-seat SUV with five luggage spaces does not become a nine-seater when the boxes arrive.
Gulfood weeks are as much about dinners as about the floor, and the evening half of the schedule is where transport planning usually collapses.
If you are hosting clients, decide in advance whether the car stays with the group after the show closes. A booking that ends at 18:00 leaves you finding transport for four people in business dress outside a venue that is emptying at once. Extending the same booking costs the car’s hourly rate and removes the problem entirely.
For companies running a full week of client entertainment, a corporate chauffeur arrangement with consistent vehicles and chauffeurs across all five days is simpler than daily bookings, and it means your guests see the same standard every evening.
March sits inside Dubai’s busy season, and Gulfood is one of the largest events in the city’s calendar. Premium vehicles, vans and coaches are committed well in advance during exhibition weeks, and full-day bookings disappear faster than half days because each one takes a chauffeur out of the pool for the whole day.
For Gulfood 2027, treat six weeks ahead as comfortable for standard sedans and earlier than that for larger vehicles or anything you need on all five days. If your travel dates move, bookings cancelled at least 24 hours before pickup are fully refundable, so booking early costs you nothing.
Send us the dates, the hotel, which venue you need on which day, passenger and luggage counts, and flight numbers for any airport legs. We will confirm the vehicle and the all-in price before anything is assigned.
Hotel choice is a transport decision at a two-venue show, and it is usually made before anyone thinks about cars.
A hotel near the Trade Centre, along Sheikh Zayed Road or in Downtown, puts you minutes from one venue and a long drive from the other. Staying out towards Dubai South reverses that. Neither is wrong. What matters is matching the hotel to where your week actually happens.
Look at your meeting list before you book the room. If four of your five days are at the Trade Centre, stay central and treat the Expo City day as a planned excursion with a full-day car. If your sectors sit at Expo City, the reverse holds, and you also gain a short run to Dubai World Central for the flight home.
Delegations staying in different hotels need one more decision. Either the car collects everyone from a single agreed point, or you book a second vehicle. Picking up four people from four hotels across Dubai at 08:30 is how a morning disappears.

When is Gulfood 2027 and where is it held?
Gulfood 2027 runs from 15 to 19 March 2027 across two venues: Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. Show hours are 10:00 to 18:00 from 15 to 18 March and 10:00 to 17:00 on 19 March.
How far apart are the two Gulfood venues?
Roughly 35 kilometres, or around thirty to forty minutes on a clear road. During exhibition week the crossing takes longer at the start and end of the show day, which is why many visitors keep a car and chauffeur with them rather than moving by taxi.
Which airport is better for Gulfood?
It depends on your venue. Dubai World Central is much closer to Expo City and the Dubai Exhibition Centre, while Dubai International is closer to the Trade Centre. The two airports are about an hour apart, so confirm which one your flight uses before arranging transport.
How many hours should I book for a Gulfood day?
A ten-hour full day suits most attendees, covering the hotel run before the 10:00 opening, any crossing between venues, and collection after the 18:00 close. A five-hour half day works for single-venue attendance or transfers only.
Can the chauffeur wait at the venue between meetings?
Yes. Waiting time is part of your booked block, so the car and chauffeur stay with you through the day rather than being rebooked at each stop. Anything beyond the package is charged at the car’s normal hourly rate.
What vehicle suits a stand team with samples?
Count cases as well as people. A Mercedes V-Class carries six passengers with five bags, an SUV such as the Yukon XL takes seven passengers and five bags, and the Mercedes Sprinter handles twelve passengers with twelve bags for larger teams.
